Can I freeze sliced deli cheese and the boxed cheese such as Velveeta?
Yes, you can freeze pretty much any type of cheese. Just be sure that before you freeze, you’ve eliminated all the air from inside the packaging. If unopened, do not open. But if you’ve already opened it, be sure to wrap in waxed paper and cover tightly with plastic wrap so the cheese does not come into contact with any air. That will prevent ice crystals, or freezer burn from forming on the cheese. Best of luck to you!
