Can I get free mulch from the Town of Leesburg from the brush collection?
No. The Town does not have a storage location for bulk mulch – in addition, the grinding equipment used for brush collection does a very rough shred – it does not go through the multiple grinding processes like commercialy bagged mulch and would not be suitable for home landscaping. The Loudoun County Landfill does offer free mulch at the facility on Evergreen Mills Road south of Leesburg. Please visit their mulch page or phone 703-771-5500 for additional information.
