Can I get information from PATAS under the Freedom of Information Act 2000?
No. Like all courts and tribunals, neither the Parking Adjudicators nor the Road User Charging Adjudicators are subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’) as they are not public authorities for the purposes of the Act. Documents produced by the PATAS administrative staff are also not accessible under the Act since they are acting on behalf of the Adjudicators.
