Can i get my drivers license in texas?

Well that wouldnt work.To get a Texas drivers license you have to be a resident of that state.By law if you LIVE not visit Texas for 30 days or more you are legally a texas RESIDENT.If you move there with a D.L. from another state with the purpose of LIVING in texas you can apply before the 30 days. But you are going to VISIT and you dont have a current D.L.so you would have to apply for a Texas D.L. and that wont work as you are not establishing residency in Texas.Best advice is to wait in your state.Oh and I know this as I was a D.P.S. clerk for two years and this would be my advice.Remember anything you sign at the D.P.S. is a legall binding document and you can not apply under false pretenses.
