The Lotus Forms Turbo 3.5.1 product by default provides a basic file-based user directory out of the box, or, it can be integrated with an external LDAP directory. However, there are a few key options and considerations to take into account when using an LDAP directory in the AWS scenario. As AWS is a cloud based offering, it’s not recommended to integrate your corporate user directory in real time, as this would otherwise give a significant impact to performance and reliability, especially as the link between AWS and your remote directory server would be reliant on the Internet, which cannot guarantee bandwidth and up time.
