Can i keep a male and female ball pythons together?

All snakes are solitary. I can’t think of any good reason to keep them together except for breeding and for the owner’s convenience of only having one cage to clean instead of two. I have several hundred snakes and all are kept separate. Sure, many people wil disagree and say their snakes get along, or so they think. It is common for one snake to become stressed and stop feeding. Just because two snakes curl up together does not mean they like each other. And I have also found that snakes which are kept separate are more likely to breed than two that are kept together all of the time. It is more natural since snakes live alone and during breeding season seek out a mate, and it also seems to build the interest of a male who has been alone when he finally does see a female, as opposed to two which are kept together and the male almost seems to get bored by the company of the female, so to speak.
