BounceBack was never designed to be a migration product. BounceBack is designed to create and maintain a clone backup of your PC or laptop hard drive. There are no functions within the product to restore individual applications and make edits to the Operating System’s registry database. So it is not recommended for this exact scenario. BounceBack saves your files on an external hard drive in an uncompressed “native file format”. Pictures, Music, Video and Documents etc. can easily be dragged and dropped or copied and pasted from an external hard drive to another computer. Since applications have dependencies on the Windows Operating System, applications would need to be reinstalled on the new computer using the factory provided CD’s.
