CAN I paint my giant African land snails shell ???

Well, for the most part no, meaning permanent enamels and/or paints that contain toxins. It will inhibit shell growth. If you want to paint the shell with water colors, it won’t last, but be sure it is toxin free, such as the watercolor paints that kindergarten children use. Just be careful not to get any on the snail itself. The dyes in these watercolors are much the same they use in food coloring, it’s not going to soak through the shell since it dries so quickly nor will it stay on long enough to inhibit shell growth. Avoid everything else. Also, if you repaint, give some time between paintings.
