Can I place an order for Extended Hours Trading during regular market hours?
Yes. All orders entered through the Extended Hours Trading page are eligible for all remaining sessions that day and expire at 8 p.m. if not executed or cancelled by then. Will I get immediate executions on orders placed in the Extended Hours market? All orders you place during the Extended Hours session, including during regular market hours, are immediately routed to Archipelago. If a match is found for your order (an order to sell at the price you want to buy, or to buy at the price you want to receive), your order will automatically be executed. Can I change or cancel my order during the session?
