Can I place into Math 147, Math 170, or other classes using the ALEKS assessment?
Yes. (But be aware that permission to take a class does not guarantee a seat if all sections are full.) You can place into: • MATH 147. If you achieve 40% you can get a permission number from the Math Department Chair. Call 208-426-1172 to set up an appointment. • MATH 170. If you achieve 70% you can get a permission number from the Math Department Chair. Call 208-426-1172 to set up an appointment. • CHEM 111. If you achieve 70% you can get a permission number from the Chemistry Department. Call 208-426-4491. • ENGR 120. If you achieve 70% you can get a permission number from College of Engineering. Call the Math Department at 208-426-1172 and set up a meeting with the Department Chair.
