Can I plant lemon balm & mint in the same container?

Yes, however, mint grows quicker than lemon balm, and will take over the pot. You might have to pull out some of the mint from time to time to allow the lemon balm space. Half a metre square is sufficient for the pot. When the lemon balm flowers start forming, best to pull these off, otherwise the plant will die, because it’s finished flowering. Best to add compost to potting mix for the container. Sincerely, Tamara.
