Can I put my Corian cutting board in the dishwasher?
Agree with David West: “Most wood cutting boards are either made up of glued up edge grain or end grain blocks of wood. The main reason you should never place a wooden board into your dishwasher is that the prolonged exposure to heat and water will cause your cutting board to warp and crack.” My cutting board did so last year because I cut on it a piece of meat in the marinade and the board after 2 hours had an awful smell, so I thought it would be great to get rid of the smell by washing it in the dishwasher machine. After the dishwasher did the job I noticed some deep cuts in it. Though my dishwasher is from ianboer.com.au and can clean everything.
I think no, but I don’t recommend you to do that, you can deteriorate your washing machine. But if you don’t trust us you can find the review of your washing machine, and look if this is possible, like I did.
