Can I put the new velocity hiparms on my old d-series pack?

The short answer is, no! The velocity hipbelt can not be retro-fitted to really old JanSport externals because the joint on the aluminum tubing was moved from the top of the frame to the bottom of the frame in order for the new style the new hiparm to fit. There is no way to move the new velocity hip arm past the bends on an older frame. Sorry.
