Can I put the reports from Wusage into an Excel spreadsheet?

Wusage does not export to Excel, except for the basic historical figures for the major stats that are graphed over time; you can import the tab-delimited spreadsheets “daily/database.dat”, “weekly/database.dat”, etc. into Excel (don’t modify them; copy them). You can not just get date *visit and document/visit show up in database.dat file, database.dat will contain exactly what is in the historical totals report, nothing more or less. However, you can use the report macro language to create reports in many styles. In general, Wusage 8.0 does not generate a lot of importable information. You can always import the database.dat file and if you have scheduled updates through the regular interface of Wusage then they should go off automatically (no need to set up any scripts of your own). A more complete set of Excel-friendly files will have to wait for 9.0.
