Can I receive NHS dental treatment whilst under the care of a private dentist?

Yes You can be registered with a private dentist and see a different NHS one. Alot of NHS dentists can’t offer all the treatments which are available (they are restricted) therefore many people who have an NHS registration with a dentist will often seek certain treatments from a Private Practice. it’s always good to let your dentist know what you intend to do and why, but you won’t jeopardise your NHS registration nor should you jeopardise your registration with your private dentist if you seek alternative treatments or opinions.
