No, you will need to purchase a Sunday saver Metcard at a cost of $3.10 per person (price as at Nov 2009). This will enable you to travel into the city, as well as on trams, trains and buses during the Romp, then home again. A great transport option! You can order Sunday Saver Metcards online (minimum purchase of 4 cards ie: $12.40 total purchase) or you can buy them at selected retail outlets and premium train stations, click here for further details. To plan your travel on Romp day, use Metlink’s fabulous Journey Planner. To talk to someone at Metlink with your specific public transport travel enquiry, call 131 638.
