Can I string my Cort acoustics with medium gauge strings?
We have been using D¡’Addario 80/20 bronze strings for many years. While strings are a matter of personal preference. It¡’s as easy as changing strings to try for yourself and see where your taste lies. The dreadnoughts and jumbos are all fine with medium or light gauge strings. But small-bodied guitars are braced lightly. So, small-bodied guitars are not suited for medium gauge strings. Use of medium gauges can damage your guitar top.
