Can I study for an MSc course in Computer Science and IT part-time?

0

We offer one MSc course, an MSc in Computing, that is primarily suitable for part-time study over up to 5 years. It has no lectures. However, study for any of our full-time on campus lectured MSc courses can also be done part-time. Arrangements for doing this are individually negotiated with the MSc course’s director. Part-time students can take a maximum of 7 years to complete such a course. The curriculum of such a lectured MSc course taken part-time is the same as the curriculum of the course taken full-time except that study is extended over more than one year. Since none of the lectured MSc courses is primarily designed as a part-time course, part-time students are warned that lectures and supervised labs taken part-time are not neatly bunched together on one or two days but are spread throughout the week from 9.15 on Monday morning until 17.15 on Friday. No lectures are given in the evening. This can make it difficult to combine study of particular modules with working part-time
