Yeah that is WAY too young. Alot of people sell their pups when they are weaned at 6 weeks of age, but its not actaully legal to sell a puppy until it is 8 weeks old. They need to stay with their mum until then. They also need to be in the company of their brothers and sisters as this is very important socilisation period. In my experience, pups that have been sold too early (including 6 weeks old) tend to be more prone to developing social problems, they can get a little too defensive of their owners, and anti-social with other dogs and people (although this can also be achieved by not socialising your pup correctly) and may develop other problem behaviours from this. At 3 weeks of age the puppy also requires mothers milk and he is not old enough to get vaccinated yet- and you really need this when you are getting a puppy. Personally, I wouldnt get a dog from a person who was willing to give them away at that age- its very irresponsible of the breeder, I would be looking for someone w
