Can I take Diazepam and Ibuprofen together ?

1

It is fine to take these two drugs together. They work differently and there is no interaction between them. The question to ask you is why taking them. You need to have proper reasons because Diazepam can easily be abused and once you take it with no apparent reason there is a chance that you will continue doing so, eventually turning into a drug addict. Ibuprofen is a NSAID which combine s as an antiflammant and also a pain killer, it is stronger than Paracetamol therefore if the pain you have can be relieved by taking Paracetamol then don’t take Ibuprofen, a ladder has to be followed in pain management. Diazepam has drowsiness as its side effect so take proper precautionary measures. Life is good so don’t just mess it up like that. If in doubt please consult your Pharmacist or GP for proper help.

They are both use for pain, well Diazepam for Chronic pain like for back pain and some times prescribed by Dentist too. Brand name is Valium which is very strong drug. Diazepam is used for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of symptoms of anxiety. Diazepam may also be used to relieve agitation, shakiness, and hallucinations during alcohol withdrawal and relieve certain types of muscle spasms. It may also be used to treat seizures, insomnia, and other conditions as determined by your doctor. It is ok to take both at same time. But make sure not to drive or operate any kind of machine while on this medication. It makes you sleepy/clumsy/dizzy. And i think it is Diazepam 2mg not 20mg. The most strength that i worked with was 2mg, 5mg or 10mg not more than that. But 20mg seems a lot with 400mg ibuprofen. but you could always call local pharmacy and talk to Pharmacist. Stay safe!
