This product contains pseudoephedrine hydrochloride as an active ingredient. The use of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride with an MAOI drug such as Nardil (phenelzine) and Parnate (tranylcypromine) may cause a reaction characterized by a headache and other serious symptoms (including convulsive seizures) due to a rise in blood pressure. Do not use this product if you are taking a prescription MAOI drug (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product.
