Due to the differences between databases, there isn’t a direct way to transfer ScriptMaker functionality to MySQL. However this functionality can generally be implemented via application logic. MySQL 5.0 will include the capability of writing stored procedures within MySQL. This means that in the future it will be possible to rewrite ScriptMaker scripts and FileMaker calculations as MySQL stored procedures.
