Can I transform an XML payload using a regular expression in XSLT?

No. Whilst XSLT 1.1 has substring functions it lacks regular expression support. Instead you use one of our standard scripting components to modify/filter using a JavaScript regular expression. There is no need to use an org.openadaptor.auxil.convertor.xml.XmlToOrderedMapConvertor component because our standard modify/filter components understand XML payloads too. The OpenAdaptor XSLT component will meet most of your other XML transformation needs, especially when reading XML in and writing XML out.
