It is highly recommended to use Sony 8cm DVD discs and/or compatible DVD discs that are confirmed by Sony. It has been confirmed that 8cm DVD media with for Handycam or for VIDEO CAMERA logo manufactured by TDK, JVC, or Maxell are compatible with the DVD Handycam. Note: There are some discs with substandard quality and capability on the market. When you use this kind of disc, the following phenomena may occur. • Unable to eject. • Unable to record. • Unable to play back recorded scenes. • An error may occur during recording or playback. • Scratches may appear on the disc.
