Can i use a 2.0 farad Capacitor on a 1000 watt rms system?

I have a capacitor on my 800 watt RMS system and it works very well. I dont have any problem with it hurting my cars charging system. It isn’t really going to hurt your cars charging system anyways because a good capacitor will charge in less than 30 seconds to a minute from nothing to full. And a capacitor only kicks in when your really pumping some sound so its not going to hurt your car. 2 farad should be enough. Generally its 1 farad per every 500 watts. Some people like to get extra beefy ones just to know and say that their stereo will always sound great and their lights wont ever dim. But really its up to you on how big of a cap you want. Dont buy anything over 10 farads if you decide to buy a bigger one because you will be wasting your money on a cap that will barely get worked. A cap from street wires or Tsunami will be the better capacitor. But any brand will work.
