Are you talking about the ram in your computer? If this is what you are asking about there is a simple way to see what will work in your computer. Go to any of the better memory sites. www.corsair.com, crucial.com etc. Any work. Go to the memory configurator. Look up the “exact” model of your computer. It will tell you how many slots you have and how much of what type of memory you can use. It does not mean you have to use the same brand in most cases, but you can not guess what type to use. Never think just because it is on sale it will fit in your computer. If the configuator gives you two speeds you could use remember to check the memory you have in the computer already. If you put a lower speed in a machine with a higher speed such as PC 5300 ddr2 with PC 6400 ddr2 you will now making both run at PC 5300 as it will clock down to the lowest common denominator. This is not horrible, but not the best. If you are working in a ddr environment be sure to place the higher amount of memory
