Can I use a few wall tiles with floor tiles??

I know that wall tile should not be used on the floor. BUT I have a few 4x4 decorative wall tiles left over from a backsplash project that I would like to mix in with floor tiles in a kitchen/dining area IF POSSIBLE. Just curious if this idea is totally out of the question or what is recommended if I could use these left over tiles on the floor. ... more
