Can I use a mattress pad or a waterproof cover on the Tempur-Pedic® mattress?
The cover that comes on many of the different models is designed to be removable and washable. On those products, mattress pads are not necessary. On the models where the cover can not be removed, a mattress pad could be useful. If you need to protect the bed against spills or accidents, it is not recommend to put a full, zippered waterproof cover on the bed. Tempur-Pedic® has a wetsafe cover that can be used on the Classic and Deluxe models. A Mattress Protector is now being offered by Tempur-Pedic® . This Mattress Protector is waterproof, air permeable and prevents allergens from reaching the mattress while keeping you cool and comfortable.
