Although the drives listed above are Ultra DMA Devices, they can be connected to the computer motherboard with a standard 40 conductor cable (ATA33 IDE) or an 80 conductor cable (ATA 66/100 IDE). See Figure 1. NOTE: The blue plug on the 80 conductor cable (ATA 66/100 IDE) must be connected into a blue connector located on the motherboard.
