Anyway. The answer to your question is: No, you cannot. First of all, you’re asking for a free anti-virus – and avast! PDA Edition is not free; it costs about $20 per year. Second, it won’t work (or even install) on your phone. It is available only for devices running PalmOS and Windows Mobile. This is kind of stupid, because although there are viruses for these two environments, they have absolutely no chances of surviving in the wild. The mobile platform which is seriously threatened by viruses is phones using the Symbian S60 R2 (*not* R3) operating system – and avast! doesn’t seem to be available for it.
