Can I use clarified butter in replacement of melted butter?

Basically the same, when you you freshly melt butter you are converting butter into a liquid form by heating on the other hand clarified butter has already been heated ,melted & cooked till nearly all moisture evaporates ,in the process the taste & flavour changes ,it no longer tastes like frehly melted butter ,soeven though you can substitue one for the other, the taste will be very different .
