Can I use CRYSTAL CLEAR 550 on mirrored glass or tinted glass?

A. No. Remember CRYSTAL CLEAR 550 attacks mineral deposits. It cannot distinguish between good (mirror) minerals and bad (calcium, salt and lime) minerals. However, if the mirror or tint is on the "inside" of the glass, you should not have a problem. Factory tinted automotive glass is safe, however, CRYSTAL CLEAR 550 should not be used on windshields as they often have abrasive damage from wipers that can become more visible.
