Can I use Dawn Direct Foam with a dishcloth or dishwashing tool other than a sponge?
It is not recommended. While other Dawn dish liquids work with any brush or dishcloth, Dawn Direct Foam is most effective when used with a sponge. That’s because the absorbent material of a sponge retains the single pump of foam that you need, helping it last through your sink full of dishes*. To reactivate the formula as you wash, simply squeeze the sponge and continue washing.
