Can I use Flowpex above ground and exposed to sunlight?
Yes, as Flowpex pipe is black it can be used where it is exposed to direct sunlight. The following is an extract from the Forward on page 4 of AS 4176-1994 which states: Polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene macro-composite pipes which are either natural or of colours other than black are not suitable for use or extended storage where exposed to direct sunlight. So if you have installations that will be exposed to direct sunlight, think of non other than the Flowpex system.
