Can I use GERSTELs Maestro control software with my CTC CombiPal?

We get asked this question a lot. Maestro is a great piece of software, it provides full integration of the whole sampling system, so that it behaves like a single instrument, it’s prep-ahead functionality can deliver a big increase in speed and throughput (by enabling the MPS to work on more than one sample at a time) and it integrates fully into Agilent’s Chemstation and Mass Hunter software platforms. To do this you will need to upgrade your CombiPal to a GERSTEL MPS, there is a kit available and we can do this for you. You will then also have an instrument that, in addition to having the functionality of a CombiPal, can also run all of the accessories available from both GERSTEL and Anatune. While this isn’t ruinously expensive to do, the fact is that it will cost you more in total to do this than to buy an MPS in the first place.
