In a word, yes.

Green tea seed (Camellia) oil is a particularly versatile oil. Like any edible oil, it has a set of distinctive properties. Its smoke point is quite high, meaning the oil can get very hot before it begins to give off smoke. This makes it ideal for frying. Its delicate flavor is a good complement to salads. The lightness of its flavor is perfect for baking, as it won't leave any strange aftertastes or alter the balance of flavors. Green tea seed oil can be used in place of vegetable, canola, and olive oils, but it is not a good substitute for oils with very strong flavors, like sesame or chili oils.

Green Tea Seed Oil is the ultimate heart-healthy cooking oil offering a light, delicious flavor that incorporates unobtrusively with almost any recipe or cuisine. Some describe the oil as having very subtle nut and tea-like aromas and flavors. The clear oil has a pleasant yellow to light-green hue. Green Tea Seed Oil serves as a versatile alternative to olive and other culinary oils used for sautéing, baking, marinades, dressings and much more. Green Tea Seed Oils relatively high smoke point lends well for frying and grilling (extra caution is always recommended when heating any food oils) meats and vegetables without adding a burnt taste that other cooking oils can cause.  more
