It depends. Many web-based email services provide access only using a browser with HTTP. These services cannot be accessed using JavaMail. If the service also provides POP3 or IMAP access, JavaMail can probably be used to access it. Contact your web email service provider for details. Another helpful tool is MrPostman, a proxy server that provides POP3 access to Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail, available at http://sourceforge.
