Some of these cards use proprietary IEEE-1394 drivers or codec consequently they are not compatible with other applications. Please check with your supplier if the IEEE-1394 interface is OHCI compliant. If it is not OHCI compliant, neoSTUDIO will not be able to capture video from a camcorder using the card. However, files captured through these cards can be imported into neoSTUDIO using the file mode if a generic codec is used, for example Microsoft DV AVI. You may have to test a few codecs before finding the one compatible with neoSTUDIO.
