Can I use OAR with Windows Internet Explorer version 8?

No, OAR does not currently support Internet Explorer version 8. To use OAR with Internet Explorer version 8, you must do two things. First, enable Explorer Compatibility View. You can do this by clicking on the Tools button and then clicking on Compatibility View. With Compatibility View enabled, Internet Explorer version 8 recognizes a webpage with which it is not compatible and provides the Compatibility View button on the browser Address bar (see image of button below). Second, while you are viewing the OAR website, click on the Compatibility button. From now on, whenever you visit the OAR website, OAR will be displayed in Compatibility View. When OAR is updated to use the current version of Internet Explorer, then Compatibility View will automatically turn off.
