Use of oxygen for this purpose is not recommended. The manual calls for the use of air and the burner was optimized for air usage. Air in fact gives better performance. Additional research may give conditions for which oxygen may be used. Please keep in mind that oxygen must be used in the NCD as the nitrogen in air will result in an elevated background.
