Most synthetic fibres burn under heat, only new age heat resistant fibres can be curled/straightened, i.e. Thermofibre from American Dream. However your stylist will also advise you of this at the time of consultation/application. Human hair can be straightened and curled as you wish, unless the packet or your stylist advises you NOT to.
