Can I use the GenSelect System with sperm sorting, artificial insemination, donor sperm, IUI, or in vitro fertilization?
The GenSelect Fully Integrated System is not compatible with invasive, expensive, fertilization/gender-selection methods such as sperm sorting, artificial insemination, donor sperm, intrauterine insemination (IUI), or in vitro fertilization. These methods were originally designed to help couples conceive and to avoid genetically-transmitted conditions, but eventually became used as gender selection methods. The central reason for this restriction is that there is no guarantee that the male donor followed the GenSelect Easy Diet Guidelines when producing the required sperm.
