A. As an independent barrister, you set your own hours, and you can work as long or as little as you like. There are facilities for shared offices at Wickham Chambers. There is the potential for such arrangements at Francis Burt Chambers, as well. In addition, Sir Lawrence Jackson Chambers offers facilities to accommodate interstate counsel, who make up a substantial number of the membership of that set of chambers.
