can insulation create an odour after 10 years. My garage has strong odour above freezing temperatures.Garage is heated
It is an 4800 watt electric heater with a fan hung from the ceiling. I’ve checked the drains for sewer smells, walls for mold. It is very hard to pinpoint the origin of the odour. A very different smell than old or sewer. I have found some mice poop, but not enough to create such an odour. This smell will give me an instant headache with sinus problems. The attic is dry and insulated with both pink and yellow fibreglass. Is the smell maybe formaldehyde?
