Can intercourse before ovulation still lead to pregnancy?
Yes actually you want to have sex in the 4 days or so leading up to ovulation. It has been proven that it is a much less chance of you conceiving if you only have sex the day of ovulation. You want to start having sex about 4-5 days before ovulation and continue for about 2-3 days after you think you ovulated just to be sure. Sperm lives 3-5 days inside you where the egg lives less than 1 day so you want the sperm waiting on the egg when it is released. If you only have sex the day of the sperm may not meet the egg before the egg dies. The highest percentage of chance of conceiving is having sex the day before ovulation.
