Can Islam Be Compatible With Canadian Culture?
I wrote a rather uncharacteristically harsh tirade about a mosque in Toronto which asks that Muslims not observe any Canadian cultural traditions in my previous posting. I wish to elaborate on that subject in a more conservative manner, and in keeping with the perspective that this mosque amounts to little more than a minority group of people who don’t really affect Canada one way or another [unless you happen to be a Somalian Muslim in Toronto]. James Bow observes in the comments: “Plenty of us non-Muslims have been trying to take the country in our own favoured direction for some time.
