Can Long-sightedness Be Corrected Without Using Glasses?
There are several types of surgery used to treat farsightedness (hyperopia). Not all patients who have hyperopia are good candidates and you would need to contact an Ophthalmologist (NOT Optometrist) to see if you would be a good candidate. Each procedure is some form of refractive surgery, which means that a change is made to the eye that allows the light entering to enter at the correct angle and distance thus reducing the need for glasses or contacts. If you are asking about any type of exercises that you may do to help, there is no such exercises that can be done to help correct the problem, nor are there any supplements that you can take to correct it. Surgery and corrective lenses are the only options.
