Can Mail-SeCure recognise file types if the file extension has been changed?

0

Yes, Mail-SeCure identifies over 300 different files types by their characteristic signatures and NOT solely on extension, so renaming file extensions does not fool Mail-SeCure. Even files embedded inside other files are not a problem – so for example inserting an EXE file into a DOC file will not bypass Mail-SeCure!
