Can Maptitude tell me how to get from one place to another?
Yes, but a few cautions are in order. The Maptitude Street file does not contain information on one-way streets, overpasses or underpasses, travel speeds, highway dividers and medians, or lots of other factors that affect the way you might choose to travel from one place to another. As a result, you may find that some routes aren’t practical, or you may want to edit the street file in some areas to make it more accurate. On the other hand, if you want to route between cities along the major highways of the US, the Caliper Major Roads file included with Maptitude will do a very good job of finding the shortest or fastest route and giving you driving directions.
