No. Converting a bitmap file directly to a Windows metafile doesn’t usually gain you anything since all you end up with is a bitmap in a metafile “shell”. However, if you’re looking for programs to “auto-trace” the bitmap searching for lines and polygons, you may want to check out the Adobe Illustrator product or Hijaak Pro from IMSI. Both claim to be able to trace bitmaps.
